The purpose of the tree giveaways is to help Lake City achieve its goal of increasing the tree canopy within the city by 1% (or 5,812 trees) and distributing all the benefits that trees provide amongst the community. Only residents who live within the city boundaries are eligible for the tree giveaway. Not sure if you live within the city? Put your address in on the County GIS map (linked below) to see if your address is within the green city boundary lines.
