Join Jay Keck, SCWF's bird guide and admitted bird addict, to search for the beautiful songbird inhabitants at Moore Farms Botanical Gardens. After the walk, we will return to the classroom for lunch and a presentation on birds. Lunch will NOT be provided - please bring your own lunch.
Jay will walk us through identifying over a dozen bird species by ear. We will discuss tips on how to remember the songs, where you'll hear the birds performing them, and what visual cues you can use to identify the bird once you see it. The cacophony of sounds can be overwhelming during the spring. Let Jay help you decipher what you are hearing so your time in the woods can be even more enjoyable and productive this year!
