Jody Fetzer (pictured upper left), Plant Health Horticulturist, will discuss tips, techniques and secrets for detecting pathogens and pests in gardens, greenhouses and landscapes. How to use patterns, colors, and find hidden clues that will make you a better gardener, plant care-giver and reward you with prettier, more productive garden plants. This is one lecture in a quarterly garden lecture series, which includes A Passion for Plants: A Very Personal Look at What Drives a Botanical Garden Director; Crinum Lily Farm; and Finding and Promoting Climate Change-Friendly Plants for a Changing Climate.
